What Can You Expect to Learn

This activity-based program is designed to be hands-on, with a focus on the communicative approach. You will be encouraged to draw and build upon your own experiences, as well as the experiences and knowledge of your peers.

Professional development; classroom teaching practices and underlying principles

ASSESSMENT & EVALUATION

Effective questioning and elicitation; student evaluation and testing; and others

CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE

Classroom management; lesson planning; computer-assisted learning; observation and teaching practice

RESOURCE MATERIAL

Surveying and accessing resources, i.e.: text books, web pages, libraries, etc. How to conduct an effective job-search

Hansa TESL Canada Course

5 Weeks: 120 horas

This course meets TESL Canada requirements and also serves International Professionals. It covers all the principles and practice of TESL, emphasizing the communicative approach to language teaching. It provides the trainees with a solid foundation on which to build a dynamic ESL teaching career.
