Students, who intend to study at universities, colleges,
or technical schools after their English course at Hansa, are entitled
to use our university placement service free of charge. Most colleges and
universities start their courses in September but applications must be
submitted by no later than February. Please keep this in mind when you
register and select the starting date and the duration of your program.
Applications to a university can take a long time and universities will
only accept the applications after the students have passed the TOEFL exam.
Many students come to Canada and apply to universities while studying English
at Hansa. Our student advisor will be happy to help you with the application
provided you have a certified English translation of your school records.
Some Canadian universities and colleges work closely with Hansa; offering
scholarships to our graduates, organizing scheduled information seminars,
and offering credit for courses completed at Hansa.
Any student that studies ESL in Hansa Language Centre's Academic
Program, for six months or more is entitled to 50% off
Hansa College Canada's TESL Program.
Students of Hansa that pass the level 9 test with a score of 70% or greater do not require TOEFL, or any
other language proficiency exam, to be admitted into Centennial College. Centennial College is one of Canada's
largest colleges, with a wide range of certificate and degree programs as well as joint programs at York and
the University of Toronto.
Full time students at Hansa Language Centre that
have successfully completed Hansa's level 8 program are eligible for
GBC Continuing Education courses at domestic rates (Up to 65% savings).
Hansa also offers a 10% tuition scholarship upon successful completion
of their first year to all students that register for George Brown's
certificate or diploma programs through Hansa.
Any Hansa student that is accepted into Niagara College will
receive a 10% tuition scholarship towards their first
year's tuition. On top of that, students who qualify for
the Niagara College In Canada Scholarship will receive
up to an additional CDN$3,000 towards their first year's
tuition.
Hansa students who are accepted to Malaspina University-College's academic programs (business, hospitality,
IT, etc.), receive a 15% tuition scholarship for the first two semesters. Students accepted into the Malaspina
MBA program receive a $750 tuition scholarship for the first two semesters (total $1500). For the Management-Foundation
course (an eight-week, pre-MBA program), students receive a 15% scholarship.
